A Love Story in God’s Own Country — Kerala
There’s something about Kerala that feels almost cinematic without even trying. The endless coconut palms, quiet backwaters, warm tropical air, traditional architecture, and beautiful simplicity make it one of those places where every corner feels like it belongs in a photograph.
For this photoshoot, we wanted to capture more than just beautiful portraits. We wanted the images to feel like Kerala — peaceful, nostalgic, romantic, and deeply connected to home.
Photographing this session along the backwaters was especially magical. Surrounded by towering coconut trees and calm waters, we kept everything simple and let the landscape become part of the story. The traditional Kerala outfits, soft natural light, and earthy tones came together perfectly, giving the photographs a timeless feeling.
One of our favorite things about photographing couples is capturing the moments in between — the laughs, the quiet looks, the little embraces, and everything that happens when they forget the camera is there. Those are often the photographs that mean the most years later.
And Kerala gave us the perfect backdrop for exactly that.

This session reminded us why Kerala will always be special. There is beauty everywhere, but there is something different about creating art in God’s Own Country.
